The life of a room: furnishings, color, art, and texture, layered and edited until the house feels collected over time rather than bought at once. For the home you already love.
Most projects call for both. Karen moves between them without ceremony, because to her, how a room works and how it feels are the same question.

Space Lift
A home, prepared to be seen.
Before a listing is photographed, Karen prepares the home using what it already owns: edited, rearranged, and finished with a few considered pieces where they earn their place. No rented rooms of furniture, no weeks of scheduling. It is done in a matter of days, at half the cost of traditional staging, often far less.
Most homes she prepares are under contract within the month. Several have sold the day after listing.
About the designer
Karen Crosby
Karen’s life in design began in the showrooms of the Dallas World Trade Center and High Point, where she styled room settings for the Horchow catalog and advised buyers on what makes a room sell. Private clients followed: homes where a grand piano was recorded by Van Cliburn for the household’s guests, and a room designed for Margaret Thatcher, furnished in part with pieces sent from No. 10 Downing Street.
Ten years inside Tiffany & Co. corporate refined the discipline: listening closely, then designing recognition gifts for some of Dallas’s most influential CEOs alongside Tiffany’s New York design department. At Ebanista, among the world’s finest handmade furniture, she helped designers compose their clients’ homes down to the floor plan.
Today she brings all of it to Dallas–Fort Worth: design and decoration for families who want their homes to look composed and live easily, and quiet preparation for homes about to meet the market.
